Sherry L. White brings together her
love of yoga and 15+ years of business experience to offer her clients a unique opportunity to enhance the quality of their
lives through the understanding of the science of yoga and its practical applications for stress management.
Ms. White has a M.S. in Leadership
and Strategic Management, a B.S. in Education and a Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management.
She has been practicing yoga for 10+ years. Sherry completed a yoga teacher training program under the instruction
of Yoga Master Alan Finger at Be Yoga/Yoga Works in Manhattan in 2005 and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance.
Sherry has studied extensively with Seane Corn, an internationally recognized Vinyasa Yoga Teacher known for
her impassioned activism, unique self-expression, and inspirational style of teaching that incorporates both the physical
and the mystical aspects of the practice of yoga. She has also trained with master instructors in
a variety of yoga traditions including: Ana Forrest (Forrest Yoga), Gary Krafstow (Viniyoga), Todd Norian (Anusara)
and Shiva Rea (Vinyasa).
Sherry teaches several styles of yoga including
Gentle, Pre/Postnatal, Power, Restorative, and Vinyasa. She currently teaches group classes and private sessions at
Elements Yoga & Wellness Center, Equinox Fitness Club and Kaia Yoga. Sherry in partnership with Downunder
Kayaking in Rowayton, Connecticut was awarded "Best Offshore Yoga" by the Greenwich, NewCanaan/Darien, Westport
Magazines. Ms. White's list of corporate clients includes: Affinion Group, KPMG, Mitchell's of Westport, Thomson
