Sherry L. White brings together her love of
yoga and 15+ years of business experience to offer her clients a unique opportunity to enhance the quality of their lives
through the understanding of the science of yoga and its practical applications for stress management.
Ms. White has a M.S. in Leadership and Strategic Management,
a B.S. in Education and a Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management. She has been practicing
yoga for 10+ years. Sherry completed a yoga teacher training program under the instruction of Yoga Master Alan
Finger at Be Yoga/Yoga Works in Manhattan in 2005 and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance.
Sherry has studied extensively with Seane Corn, an internationally recognized Vinyasa Yoga Teacher known for
her impassioned activism, unique self-expression, and inspirational style of teaching that incorporates both the physical
and the mystical aspects of the practice of yoga. She has also trained with Gary Krafstow, founder
of the American Viniyoga Institute, and has earned a certificate in Yoga, Mindfulness and Mind-Body Therapy from Dr. Paul
Epstein, a Naturopathic Physician, who has a practice in Westport, Connecticut. Ms. White is also a trained Pilates Instructor.
Sherry teaches several styles of yoga including Hatha, Pre & Postnatal, Power, and Vinyasa.
She currently teaches group classes at Equinox Fitness Club and Elements Yoga/Wellness Center (Darien, Connecticut);
and operates a seasonal Yoga & Kayaking program in partnership with Downunder Kayaking (Rowayton, Connecticut)
where the team was awarded "Best Offshore Yoga" by the Greenwich, NewCanaan/Darien, Westport Magazines
in 2007. Ms. White's list of corporate clients includes: Affinion Group, KPMG, Mitchell's of Westport, Thomson
Reuters and Zotos International.
